3. Books. This is the cheapest way to learn to speed read. Your local library will probably have a selection of books available. As with the online course you’ll be able to do that at your own pace and when it suits you best. However, the online course will contain motivational material. When you’re sitting at home with a book you will need to be able to encourage yourself. This can be the toughest way to be told to speed read, however the results are just as good.
Remember that once you speed read there ought to be no loss of comprehension of the text you’re reading. If you’re not understanding or absorbing what you are reading then you’re not doing it properly, and it is a waste of time.
